The wait is finally over! After more than 8 months of work, our much anticipated iPad version is now available!
For those who are new to Groove, it’s a music player that studies your listening habits and creates a wide variety of instant mixes like your own personal DJ. By making use of social music services like Last.fm, as well as your own listening profile, Groove probably knows much more about your music than you do.
We hope you like the new icon & UI designed by Julien Martin. You can also watch the demo video from The Daily App Show to see Groove for iPad in action!
Completely redesigned for iPad
With Groove for iPad, not only can you hear the groovy mixes that you love, but you will also be able to explore and flip through your music in a beautiful, iPad-optimized interface.

This is amazing. Also one of the most beautiful apps in the store.
I was really excited when I first saw this app as I'd not heard of it before. I have an original ipad 16G WiFi. I don't have a lot of room for all my music on my device, but I have tons and tons of music in iTunes. When I read that the app integrates with Last.fm I thought it would learn about what I like to hear and also pull music from Last.fm and I would hear "fresh" music in genres that I like. But now I don't think that it does that and it is limited to only playing what I have on my device. If this is the case, I'm so disappointed because that wasn't the impression that your app description left me with. If that is not the case and I am wrong, would you please let me know? Or if future updates might allow me to hear music from my iTunes library and/or Last.fm? Then it would be a truly awesome app that I would use and recommend. Thanks very much.
Sincerely,
Neil Frank
Hi Neil,
Thanks for your feedback. For now, you can only play music from your device in Groove. We will consider your feature request to play music from your iTunes library or Last.fm, but we can't tell when it will be available, as we try to implement features that will benefits to the majority of Groove users.
Best regards,
The Groove Team
